The Hoxton Arrives in Los Angeles
The Hoxton has just opened its doors in the dynamic downtown of Los Angeles since the end of October. A historic Broadway building nestled among LA’s oldest theatres and movie palaces. The design is a collaboration between the Ennismore Studio and Soho House.
The Hoxton has 174 rooms. Each room is cleverly designed and features chevron floors, burl wood furniture and House of Hackney prints, a little tribute to the Hoxton’s East London roots.
The hotel is surrounded by concept stores and arts galleries and features a rooftop pool and a pair of trendy new restaurants. Sibling Rival is a coffee and bar for a delicious brunch, for example, and Pilot is a restaurant on the Rooftop with Mediterranean kitchen. We advise you to have a drink at the Rooftop while enjoying the sunset.
The Hoxton offers three events for guests to experience:
- Art as Therapy W/Society and Skid Row Carnival of Love: 30thJanuary
There’s no mistaking art’s positive effect on mental health — no matter your artistic skill, social class, race or gender. The hotel organizes a discussion on the importance of art for everyone. Art therapist, Lynell Weiss, will walk through the ins and outs of this creative and healing avenue of self-expression.
The hotel will present its latest project, an online shop by Society6 as well as The Hoxton and Skid Row Carnival of Love that creates equal access to art for everyone.
