While the northern hemisphere settles into long (too hot) bright days, the season turns the opposite way at the southern tip of Africa. We traveled to the Atlantic coast for this story.

Henry Joubert and Christian Tromp, both from Boss Models, carry the shoot across the boardwalks and weathered railings of the coastline. The styling by Luthando James leans into texture and contrast, structured jackets over relaxed knits, sharp trousers against open sky, a palette that moves between bright blue afternoons and the cooler grey of black-and-white.

Photographed by Louis Daniel Botha, the series makes a case for winter dressing at the exact moment we are reaching for less.
