Share with us how being on COBRA KAI has changed your perspective on life and has helped you evolved as an actress.
It’s made me extremely grateful that I get to pursue a career that I’m in love with. It’s given me every opportunity I have now and I’m very grateful.
What are some things you thought you would never overcome, but after being part of this project, you were able to?
I guess the industry itself. It’s so hard to be seen and noticed in the entertainment industry and I think it just goes to show if you work hard and yes fall into some luck, your opportunity will come.
Why were you drawn to this series?
To be honest I wasn’t completely sure what I was auditioning for when I auditioned for Cobra Kai. I knew it was a YouTube Series at the time and Ralph Macchio was attached. It’s been a lot of fun being a part of the Karate Kid franchise, exploring past characters, and meeting new faces.
Tell us more about your other projects and how they differ from this one. What do you like about those?
I worked on a show called Creepshow in the winter, and it was so much fun to be a part of the horror genre. Contrary to what you might think, running around, screaming, and fighting supernatural beings couldn’t be more fun. I am also going to be a part of a new Disney Plus anthology series. I love the storyline of my episode and I worked with some really cool people. Hopefully, those will be coming out soon!
Growing up, what was something crazy that you did? Describe.
I once snuck into an abandoned amusement park with my siblings and not gonna lie, it was awesome.
What does “feeling safe” mean to you?
It means being with my family and pets!
Who do you look up to in life?
I really look up to my parents. My mom has always shown be what it means to be a successful woman in a career she’s passionate about. My dad has shown me unconditional love and selflessness. They’ve supported me every step of the way and I’m very lucky to have them.
If you could be a famous person (dead or alive) for a week, who would you pick and why?
Florence Pugh because I’m obsessed with her and think she’s the coolest person.
What comes next in 2021?
I’ll be shooting a film in Chicago this summer and I couldn’t be more excited. I don’t think I can speak too much on it now but stay tuned!
