CATCH HER IF YOU CAN: BRIANNA MIZURA IS JUST GETTING STARTED

April 20, 2026 Alexandra Tuil

With over 20 million combined social followers and a signature style rooted in cinematic, character-driven storytelling, Brianna Mizura steps into a bold new era with the release of her debut music video and single, “Catch Me if You Can.” Blurring the lines between digital creator and emerging music artist, Mizura transforms her viral POV universe into a high-gloss, thriller-inspired visual experience, one that feels both deeply personal and strikingly elevated. Directed by Jake the Shooter, whose work spans artists like Cardi B and Saweetie, the video channels tension, seduction, and control through a narrative that nods to the very series that first launched her career.

Watch “Catch Me if You Can” HERE and step inside the world she’s built, where nothing is quite as it seems. You can follow Brianna Mizura on TikTok: @Brianna_Mizura, YouTube: @BriannaMizura, and IG: @Brianna_Mizura.

BELLO: “Catch Me if You Can” feels like a defining moment in your career. What sparked the story behind this release?

Brianna Mizura: The story behind this song and music video is actually inspired by my very first POV series I ever posted on social media. It’s a spy series I created about a love story with lots of twists and turns. It ended up doing incredibly well across my platforms, gaining me a lot of followers and subscribers, especially on YouTube. Now that I’m approaching 10 million subscribers, it felt like the perfect time to pay homage to the story that really started it all. This song and music video are my way of saying thank you to my fans.

BELLO: The title “Catch Me if You Can” alone carries tension and intrigue. What does the idea of being chased or “caught” symbolize in the music video?

BM: Without giving too much away, the music video centers around “Mya”, a highly skilled spy who’s always in control. That is, until she finds herself falling for someone who may not have the best intentions. The line “catch me if you can” really reflects her internal conflict. On one hand, she senses that something isn’t right, but on the other, there’s a part of her that wants to be chased, that wants to see how far he’ll go. It’s that push and pull between instinct and emotion that really drives the story.

BELLO: Your work has always been rooted in storytelling. How did your background in POV, episodic content shape the narrative of this video? What is the story arc that we see?

BM: When it comes to creating POVs, I always aim to leave the audience wanting more and I approached this music video with that same mindset. My hope is that after watching, viewers feel intrigued and curious to learn more about these characters. As for the story arc, I’d rather keep that as a surprise, but I truly hope audiences find it both engaging and satisfying.

BELLO: You collaborated with Jake the Shooter on this project who has worked with so many notable artists such as Cardi B, Dixie d’Amelio, Saweetie, etc. What made him the right creative partner, and how did he elevate your vision?

BM: I knew from the beginning that I wanted this music video to feel special, so I spent a lot of time researching different directors. When I came across Jake’s work, I instantly felt like we’d be a great fit. His style really aligned with my vision. He elevated the project by being incredibly supportive throughout the entire process and giving me the confidence I needed to bring this idea to life. Creating your first music video can be intimidating, but he made it feel collaborative and exciting every step of the way.

BELLO: There’s a striking sense of control and confidence in this era. Do you feel like you’re stepping into a character, or revealing a more honest version of yourself?

BM: I’d say it was a bit of both. There’s that saying, ‘fake it until you make it,’ and I think that really applies, especially when you’re stepping into something new. This project was truly a passion project for me and something I’ve always wanted to do. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, and at times that meant having to lean into confidence I didn’t fully feel yet. But through that process, you eventually start to find it for real.

BELLO: Fashion plays such a strong role in your visuals. How did styling help define the mood and identity of this project?

BM: Styling played a huge role in defining the mood of this project, especially when it came to my character. I wear a variety of different looks throughout the video, but one of my favorites is the black leather combat suit in the opening shot. It really elevated the character and instantly gives the audience the sense that she means business.

BELLO:  You’ve built a massive audience through digital storytelling. How are you approaching the transition into music on your own terms?

BM: Honestly, this transition into music has been purely for fun and a creative outlet to try something new. I chose to do this project because I genuinely wanted to, not because anyone pushed me into it, and I think there’s something really special about that.

BELLO:  What do you want people to understand about you as an artist that they might not expect from your content?

BM: I think with this project in particular, I’m hoping people can really see the range in my craft. A lot of my content tends to lean more PG, but with this, I wanted to show that I can also step into more serious, layered characters. My OG fans who grew up watching the original spy series on my channel already know that side of me, but I’m especially excited for new viewers to see something different. This is really unlike anything I’ve done before, so I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone reacts.

BELLO: When someone watches “Catch Me if You Can,” what’s the feeling you want to leave them with after the final frame?

BM: I’m really hoping viewers feel intrigued, satisfied, and excited for what’s to come from me and my future projects.
