Runway to Omakase: Saint Laurent’s Elegant Take on Japanese Dining in Paris

In a bold fusion of haute couture and haute cuisine, Saint Laurent has unveiled “Sushi Park Paris,” an exclusive omakase dining experience nestled within its newly renovated Rive Droite boutique at 213 rue Saint-Honoré. This venture, opening its doors on February 21, 2025, marks the first permanent location of the famed Los Angeles eatery outside the U.S.
The collaboration between Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, and Chef Peter Park of Sushi Park Los Angeles brings a minimalist yet luxurious ambiance to the Parisian space. The intimate setting features dark wood-paneled walls and subdued lighting, creating a serene atmosphere that complements the meticulously crafted sushi offerings.
Chef Park, renowned for his commitment to seasonal ingredients and traditional techniques, presents an omakase menu where each dish is selected and prepared in real-time, offering diners a personalized culinary journey. This initiative reflects Saint Laurent’s broader strategy to intertwine fashion with diverse cultural experiences, following previous ventures into film production and literary publishing.
Reservations for Sushi Park Paris are now open, with seatings available from Tuesday through Saturday. This unique blend of fashion and gastronomy is poised to become a sought-after destination for both fashion aficionados and culinary enthusiasts in the heart of Paris.
