Bello: Manelyk, your new Vix series Las Cómplices is already generating a lot of anticipation. What can we expect from your character, and how does this reflect this new stage of your career?
Manelyk: Honestly, I filmed Las Cómplices a year ago, and I’ve spent that entire time eagerly waiting for people to see it. The series is really cool, full of nuance, and I share the screen with top-level actresses from whom I learned so much. I’m very excited because I feel this marks a real new stage in my career, where everything I’ve planted is starting to bear fruit. I’ve been knocking on doors and preparing myself for two years to fully dedicate myself to acting, and this series represents just that: the beginning of a more mature, focused, and authentic version of myself.

Bello: What was the biggest challenge in taking on this project, and how did you bring your character to life in a unique way?
Manelyk: At first, I was very nervous because I was surrounded by amazing talents like Maribel Guardia, Marjorie de Sousa, Lucía Méndez, and Laura Flores. These are women with impressive careers and a strong presence on screen. But as the days went by, I started enjoying filming with them because they gave me confidence and always offered tips and advice that helped me grow.
I worked a lot with my acting coach here in Mexico because my character has multiple personalities and layers. I wanted each facet to feel authentic, to show her evolution, and for the audience to connect with her. It was a huge challenge but also one of the most enriching experiences I’ve ever had.
Bello: You are soon participating in the Billboard Music Awards. What does it mean for you to be part of such an important stage, and how are you preparing for this moment?
Manelyk: I’m happy, excited, and very grateful for life and my work. This is my first time attending the Billboard Music Awards, and it means so much to me to be part of an event of this level, surrounded by so many international talents. I’m genuinely excited to experience the whole process — from preparing to walking the carpet. I want to feel beautiful, powerful, and confident. Moments like these remind me of all the effort behind the scenes and how wonderful it is to enjoy the results of so much work.
Bello: In this new stage, how do you balance your roles as an actress, presenter, and now a public figure in high-profile projects?
Manelyk: I’m lucky to have a great team that helps me stay perfectly organized and give 100% to each role.
I like to give my best, no matter the project, and I think that shows. Honestly, I love working; I’m passionate about what I do, and when you love your work, you find a way to balance everything. Each project motivates me, challenges me, and pushes me to keep growing.
Bello: With so many new projects, how do you choose roles or collaborations that truly reflect your artistic evolution?
Manelyk: I choose each project very carefully. I like that it reflects my personality and the stage I’m in.
I look for something that will leave me with growth and also bring something new to my fans. With every project, I try to show a fresh image, a new facet of myself, and when one ends, I reinvent myself to keep growing and surprising people.
Bello: What message do you hope to convey to your audience with this new phase of your career, especially to those who have followed you for years?
Manelyk: I want my audience to see that dreams are achieved through consistency and evolution — nothing happens overnight. I’ve grown a lot, not only professionally but also as a woman.
To my fans, I want to say that every change is worth it, that it’s okay to reinvent yourself, take risks, and start over as many times as needed. This new stage is about showing that one can be strong, authentic, and continue to shine without losing themselves.
Bello: What’s next for you?
Manelyk: I want to keep growing as an actress, prepare even more, and take on projects that challenge me as an artist. I would also love to take my career beyond Mexico, represent Latina women in international productions, and continue building my name with authenticity. What’s coming excites me because I feel like I’m just getting started.

Manelyk González: Una Nueva Etapa de Crecimiento
Bello: Manelyk, tu nueva serie de Vix Las Cómplices ya está generando mucha expectativa. ¿Qué podemos esperar de tu personaje y cómo refleja esta nueva etapa de tu carrera?
Manelyk: Honestamente, filmé Las Cómplices hace un año y he pasado todo ese tiempo esperando con ansias que la gente la vea. La serie es increíble, llena de matices, y comparto pantalla con actrices de primer nivel de las que aprendí muchísimo. Estoy muy emocionada porque siento que esto marca una nueva etapa real en mi carrera, donde todo lo que he sembrado empieza a dar frutos. He estado tocando puertas y preparándome durante dos años para dedicarme por completo a la actuación, y esta serie representa precisamente eso: el comienzo de una versión más madura, enfocada y auténtica de mí misma.
Bello: ¿Cuál fue el mayor desafío al asumir este proyecto y cómo diste vida a tu personaje de una manera única?
Manelyk: Al principio estaba muy nerviosa porque estaba rodeada de talentos increíbles como Maribel Guardia, Marjorie de Sousa, Lucía Méndez y Laura Flores. Son mujeres con carreras impresionantes y una gran presencia en pantalla. Pero con el paso de los días empecé a disfrutar las grabaciones con ellas porque me dieron confianza y siempre me ofrecieron consejos y tips que me ayudaron a crecer.
Trabajé mucho con mi coach de actuación aquí en México porque mi personaje tiene múltiples personalidades y capas. Quería que cada faceta se sintiera auténtica, que mostrara su evolución y que el público pudiera conectar con ella. Fue un gran reto, pero también una de las experiencias más enriquecedoras que he tenido.
Bello: Pronto participarás en los Billboard Music Awards. ¿Qué significa para ti ser parte de un escenario tan importante y cómo te estás preparando para este momento?
Manelyk: Estoy feliz, emocionada y muy agradecida con la vida y con mi trabajo. Es la primera vez que asisto a los Billboard Music Awards, y significa mucho para mí formar parte de un evento de este nivel, rodeada de tantos talentos internacionales. Estoy genuinamente emocionada por vivir todo el proceso —desde la preparación hasta caminar por la alfombra—. Quiero sentirme hermosa, poderosa y segura. Momentos como estos me recuerdan todo el esfuerzo detrás de escena y lo maravilloso que es disfrutar los resultados de tanto trabajo.
Bello: En esta nueva etapa, ¿cómo logras equilibrar tus roles como actriz, presentadora y ahora figura pública en proyectos de alto perfil?
Manelyk: Tengo la suerte de contar con un gran equipo que me ayuda a mantenerme perfectamente organizada y dar el 100% en cada rol.
Me gusta dar lo mejor de mí sin importar el proyecto, y creo que eso se nota. Honestamente, amo trabajar; me apasiona lo que hago, y cuando amas tu trabajo, encuentras la manera de equilibrarlo todo. Cada proyecto me motiva, me reta y me impulsa a seguir creciendo.
Bello: Con tantos proyectos nuevos, ¿cómo eliges los papeles o colaboraciones que realmente reflejan tu evolución artística?
Manelyk: Elijo cada proyecto con mucho cuidado. Me gusta que refleje mi personalidad y la etapa en la que estoy.
Busco algo que me deje crecimiento y que también aporte algo nuevo a mis fans. Con cada proyecto trato de mostrar una imagen fresca, una nueva faceta de mí misma, y cuando uno termina, me reinvento para seguir creciendo y sorprendiendo a la gente.
Bello: ¿Qué mensaje esperas transmitirle a tu público con esta nueva fase de tu carrera, especialmente a quienes te han seguido por años?
Manelyk: Quiero que mi público vea que los sueños se logran con constancia y evolución —nada pasa de la noche a la mañana—. He crecido mucho, no solo profesionalmente sino también como mujer.
A mis fans quiero decirles que cada cambio vale la pena, que está bien reinventarse, arriesgarse y empezar de nuevo las veces que sea necesario. Esta nueva etapa trata de demostrar que se puede ser fuerte, auténtica y seguir brillando sin perderse a uno mismo.
Bello: ¿Qué sigue para ti?
Manelyk: Quiero seguir creciendo como actriz, prepararme aún más y asumir proyectos que me desafíen como artista. También me encantaría llevar mi carrera más allá de México, representar a las mujeres latinas en producciones internacionales y seguir construyendo mi nombre con autenticidad. Lo que viene me emociona, porque siento que apenas estoy comenzando.
