Hello, hello Asher Angel, not only a talented actor, but also an amazing musician, and singer who is already making a name for himself at a very early age. It seems like it was an amazing year for you, what are you most excited about in 2019?
It has been an amazing year. In 2019, I am looking forward to recording and releasing new music as well as the premiere of Shazam. I am excited to continue on this journey and see where it takes me and also excited to share these incredible experiences with my family. There is so much to look forward to, I just can’t wait.

We love your latest song. How do you get about choosing and/or creating music? Can you tell us more about your favorite part about being a musician?
One of my favorite parts about being a musician is the ability it provides me to express myself and connect with those that feel my expression. I also love performing and connecting with my fans over music. Those moments give us a shared experience that we otherwise would not have. Creating music happens organically through my experiences, feelings, expressions and life observations. How we feel, move and connect all shape sound.

Would you ever decide between singing and acting?
I don’t think I can – I love them both and they are so different and provide a different creative experience for me. It is not something I ever think about. I just want to keep working at what I love to do and see where life, passion and hard work takes me.

Shazam will be releasing in theaters in April, can you tell us what are some of the most interesting experiences while filming?
I don’t have a single experience that comes to mind because the entire process was a quite exhilarating. The scale of the project was comparatively big to me and really cool. Also, we filmed in some really cool locations and the set design was really impressive and memorable. I loved the stunt work…. I can’t say anymore because I don’t want to give any spoilers.

Which one of your fellow cast members did you have the most fun with during the filming? 
We are called the Shazamily and became quite close during production. It is hard to name just one or a few as it was easy to get along with everyone and everyone brought their unique and fun personalities to set.

Have you stayed in contact with any of your cast mates? 
All of them. I talk to most of them through social media or otherwise I see them when I go to LA.

You live in Arizona but film your projects in Utah and Toronto, what has been your favorite city to visit so far? 
That’s a hard one. Everywhere I visit I find something I like about that city. Toronto is great when it warms up….but when I was there, it was mostly cold, cold and cold. I loved Utah – I spent close to 3 years there – and there is so much to do. Between, skiing, fishing and horseback riding it really is a great place.

Can you tell us more about your personal style in fashion. What is your current favorite thing to wear at the moment?
My personal style most of the time is all about comfort. I love dressing in high fashion for shoots and learning more about the designers. It’s been a fun experience so far and I hope to collaborate with a brand in the future.

It’s almost the end of the year, can you please name your top 3 favorite things, and 3 of your favorite people you’ve worked with in 2018?
Top 3 favorite things are – Basketball, Music and Movies
Top 3 favorite people that I worked with in 2018 – I can’t pick just 3. It would have to be the AM Cast, Jack Dylan Grazer and Zach Levi.
