Animal Kingdom

When Australian director David Michôd’s film Animal Kingdom was released in 2010 it was met with international critical acclaim. The crime drama which follows the Cody family of four brothers and their matriarch mother (played by Jacki Weaver) was like nothing we had ever seen before. It even garnered Weaver an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Now TNT has taken over the reigns of Cody family with their terrific TV series inspired by the film. The network just launched season two of the series on May 30, 2017, and fans are in store for another explosive year of nail-biting robberies from one of Southern California’s most notorious crime families.
For this special edition of BELLO, we had a chance to catch up with four of the series’ stars: Shawn Hatosy (Andrew “Pope” Cody), Ben Robson (Craig Cody), Jake Weary (Deran Cody), and Finn Cole (Joshua “J” Cody). And with photographs by Aleksandar Tomovic, the men of Animal Kingdom have never looked better!
