MIKA Brings the Magic Back to Los Angeles

On May 13th, the legendary MIKA returned to Los Angeles for a special performance at the Orpheum Theatre, and what a night it was.
From the moment he stepped onto the stage, MIKA had the entire audience captivated. The evening celebrated his incredible career while also giving fans a taste of his new album, Hyperlove. It was a perfect mix of nostalgia, excitement, and the unforgettable energy that only MIKA can bring to a live performance.
There is something truly special about seeing MIKA live. His energy is infectious, his voice sounds incredible, and his connection with the audience feels genuine and effortless. Throughout the evening, the crowd sang along, danced, and celebrated every song. In fact, we barely sat down the entire night.
Fans were treated to some of his most iconic hits, including “Relax, Take It Easy,” “Lollipop,” “Grace Kelly,” “Big Girl (You Are Beautiful),” and “Elle Me Dit.” Hearing these songs live reminded everyone why MIKA remains one of the most beloved and unique performers of his generation.

The setlist offered the perfect journey through the different chapters of his career. Every song was met with enthusiasm, but there was one particularly emotional moment for us: “Happy Ending.” As one of our all-time favorite MIKA songs, it was the rare moment during the concert when we finally sat down and simply enjoyed every note.
Beyond the music, MIKA’s stage presence is remarkable. He doesn’t just perform songs; he creates an experience. Every movement, every interaction, and every note feels full of life. His joy on stage is impossible to ignore, and it quickly spreads throughout the audience.
For Los Angeles fans, this concert felt especially meaningful. It had been eight years since MIKA last performed in the city, making his return even more exciting. The evening was a wonderful reminder of the power of live music and the lasting connection artists can build with their audiences.
Thank you, MIKA, for taking the time to come back and see us in Los Angeles. We had an incredible time celebrating your music and witnessing such an amazing performance. Hopefully next time we won’t have to wait another eight years for your return.
