Golden Hour Above Paris: The Peninsula Rooftop Returns

The Peninsula Paris reopens its rooftop for the summer season, offering an elevated escape above the city. With panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Cœur, the space remains one of the capital’s most refined open-air destinations.
Open daily from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., weather permitting, the rooftop welcomes guests without reservations. Food service begins at 6:00 p.m. and continues through 10:30 p.m., with access granted based on availability. The limited capacity contributes to the atmosphere of calm and exclusivity.
Michelin-starred chef David Bizet leads the menu with seasonal sharing plates, while pastry chef Anne Coruble brings a delicate balance to the experience with her modern desserts. The cocktail program includes exclusive creations developed with The Macallan, offering a layered and precise approach to the drinks selection.

The ambiance is curated through sound and design. Bon Entendeur sets the tone with a Belle Époque-inspired playlist that bridges French nostalgia and contemporary rhythm. The furniture, designed by Roche Bobois, plays a central role in defining the rooftop’s identity. Each seating area is thoughtfully arranged with signature pieces that blend comfort and sculptural design. The result is more than just a rooftop with a view. It becomes a high-design living room suspended above Paris.
Above the rhythm of the city, The Peninsula’s rooftop offers a rare balance of perspective, detail, and quiet sophistication.
