Azur Beverly Hills Brings the Spirit of the French Riviera to the Golden Triangle

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A new chapter of Riviera-inspired living arrives in Los Angeles as Azur Beverly Hillsofficially opens its doors, introducing a French-Mediterranean restaurant and lounge designed to capture the essence of the Côte d’Azur. Located at 453 N. Canon Drive in the heart of the Golden Triangle, Azur is set to celebrate its grand opening and ribbon-cutting on April 22, 2026.
Already welcoming guests since March 28, Azur positions itself as more than a dining destination. It is an atmosphere, a rhythm, a way of being that echoes long summer nights along the Mediterranean.
A Riviera State of Mind in Los Angeles
Azur channels the effortless elegance of the South of France through every detail. The concept draws from the sensory pleasures of coastal living: the scent of olive oil warming under the sun, grilled seafood shared across a table, the brightness of Provençal herbs, and music drifting into the night.
Designed as both a restaurant and lounge, the experience evolves throughout the evening. Dinner transitions naturally into a more festive energy, guided by live performances and curated DJ sets that define the mood without overpowering it.
Azur’s identity extends beyond the table. Music is not treated as background, but as a defining element of the experience. From early evening through late night, the sound evolves with the room, guiding the transition from dinner to a more elevated, celebratory mood.
To capture that energy beyond its walls, the team has curated an official Azur playlist, offering a glimpse into the sonic world that shapes each night at the restaurant. It reflects the same Riviera spirit: effortless, sensual, and designed to linger.

Cuisine Rooted in Fire and Simplicity
At the heart of Azur is a culinary approach grounded in Cuisine du Soleil, where simplicity meets precision. Executive Chef Stanley Suchy leads the kitchen, with a menu created by renowned French chef Éric Cuenin.
The focus is on seasonality, wood-fire cooking, and dishes meant to be shared. Expect coastal seafood, vibrant vegetables, and compositions that highlight the integrity of each ingredient. The offering is complemented by a thoughtful selection of French wines, champagnes, and cocktails inspired by destinations such as Saint-Tropez, Monaco, and Saint-Barth.

Design That Moves With the Light
Azur’s interiors have been reimagined to reflect the warmth and luminosity of the Mediterranean coast. The space blends bohemian ease with refined materials, creating an environment that feels both elevated and relaxed.
A front terrace opens onto Canon Drive, offering an ideal setting for alfresco dining and people-watching. Inside, the dining room is intimate yet contemporary, designed to shift seamlessly from daylight to candlelit evenings. A high-fidelity VOID Acoustic sound system anchors the experience, delivering a soundscape that is immersive without being intrusive.
The result is a space that evolves with the hour, from sunlit lunches to late-night gatherings.
A Family Vision with Proven Impact
Behind Azur is a deeply rooted family project led by Erik and Florence Chol, whose impact on Los Angeles hospitality spans decades. The duo notably revived the historic Globe Theatre on Broadway, transforming it into one of California’s most successful multi-event venues, hosting projects for names such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Dua Lipa.
In 2022, they introduced LouLou in Santa Monica, quickly establishing it as one of the city’s most sought-after dining destinations. With Azur, they bring that same sensibility to Beverly Hills, grounded in authenticity, craftsmanship, and a sense of community.
Working closely with artisans and collaborators, the Chols have shaped Azur as a place where cuisine, design, and music coexist naturally.
“Azur strives to give people what they don’t yet know they already want,” the team shares. “Creating moments that feel effortless, genuine, and unforgettable.”
Where Every Evening Feels Like Summer
Azur Beverly Hills arrives at a moment when Los Angeles continues to redefine its relationship with dining and nightlife. By merging the elegance of French hospitality with the city’s appetite for experience-driven spaces, Azur offers something both familiar and new.
It is a place where dinner is only the beginning, and where each evening unfolds with a sense of ease that feels distinctly Riviera.
