Grant, Ronson & Greene returns with new allegiances, tested friendships and a revelation that could bring down the whole firm. Here's what we know about the comeback.

A shocking revelation threatens the very existence of a law firm, and everyone involved is wearing heels. That’s the pitch for All’s Fair season 2, which premieres on Hulu on November 4.

The Hulu Original brings back the lawyers of Grant, Ronson & Greene for another season of “scandals, secrets, and stilettos,” in Hulu’s own words. Three nouns, one alliterative promise. It’s refreshingly honest marketing.

The setup: new alliances, shaky friendships

Here’s what Hulu says is coming. New allegiances form. Friendships are tested. And a revelation, billed as shocking, puts the firm’s survival on the line. In a legal drama, that’s a classic recipe: the people who work side by side may not stay on the same side for long.

It’s a setup with plenty of room for the things a show like this runs on. Loyalties that wobble, a firm with its name on the door and a lot to lose, and a secret or two that won’t stay put. How it all plays out is for the episodes to say. For now, the premise reads like a dare.

The cast, in one power lineup

The series stars Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka and Cauã Reymond. Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close are billed separately, with the “with” credit that suggests you should pay attention when they walk into a room.

That’s eight names on one call sheet. Put them together and you get a group chat nobody would dare leave.

Who’s behind the curtain

All’s Fair is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television, and Murphy is among the executive producers. So is Kim Kardashian. So is Kris Jenner, which puts the Kardashian-Jenner name twice in the credits of a single legal drama. The logic holds.

The full executive producer list is long: Ryan Murphy, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Joe Baken, Nissa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Eric Kovtun, Anthony Hemingway, Louise Shore, Tanase Popa, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor and Lyn Greene.

Look closely and you’ll spot something. Close, Watts, Paulson, Nash-Betts and Taylor appear on that list as well as in the cast. They’re not only wearing the stilettos. They’re also helping decide where the show walks in them.

How to watch

Mark November 4 in the calendar and keep it clear. The new season streams on Hulu, with Grant, Ronson & Greene open for business and, if the setup is any guide, not entirely stable.

Dress as though a deposition might break out at any moment, and don’t get too attached to anyone’s alliance. Hulu has promised secrets, and this firm doesn’t seem to be holding on to them very tightly.
