The skincare brand brought together experts in beauty, wellness, and fashion to explore the trends set to shape the next chapter of Latina self-expression.

What does the future of beauty, wellness, and fashion look like for Latinas? For Hispanic Heritage Month, Neutrogena brought together experts across these fields to explore the trends expected to make an impact in 2027, creating a conversation that went beyond skincare to celebrate identity, individuality, and the many ways Latinas express themselves.

The event united dermatologist Dr. Bertha Baum, celebrity makeup artist Mariela Bagnato, certified brain health expert Candy Calderon, and Emmy Award-winning stylist Lucia Maldonado. Each brought a different perspective to the conversation, from achieving a personalized glow to protecting cognitive well-being and embracing fashion trends without losing sight of personal style.

Beauty That Celebrates Every Complexion

For Dr. Bertha Baum and Mariela Bagnato, the future of beauty is all about universal glow and dimensional skin. Rather than following a single definition of radiance, the trend encourages Latinas to personalize their routines and experiment with color, texture, and light in ways that reflect their individual complexions and beauty identities.

The conversation also highlighted products that can help bring this look to life. Neutrogena’s Cloud Tech Ultra Sheer Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 70 offers sun protection alongside a soft-focus finish, while the Glass Glow Balm adds a touch of luminosity.

The message is simple: glowing skin does not have to look the same on everyone. Beauty is most exciting when it leaves room for personal interpretation.

Wellness Starts From Within

The event also addressed a topic that deserves more attention in conversations about women’s wellness: brain health.

Certified brain health expert Candy Calderon highlighted how many Latinas balance multiple responsibilities, often moving between professional lives, motherhood, caregiving, and supporting their families. In many households, women also serve as key sources of health information and guidance.

Protecting memory, focus, and emotional well-being is therefore about more than individual self-care. It can also influence long-term independence and the health of entire families and communities.

By including brain health in the conversation, Neutrogena expanded the idea of wellness beyond what we see in the mirror, emphasizing the importance of caring for ourselves from the inside out.

Fashion With Movement and Meaning

For fashion, stylist Lucia Maldonado predicts that fringe will continue to find new life in 2027, appearing on everything from skirts paired with knitwear to accessories that add movement and texture.

Her advice, however, is not to follow every trend blindly. Bold colors, sheer layers, Western-inspired details, and playful textures can refresh a wardrobe, but the goal is to make each trend feel personal and authentic.

For Latinas, fashion can also be a way to connect with cultural heritage while embracing contemporary influences. The most memorable looks are not necessarily the ones that follow every new direction, but the ones that tell a story about the person wearing them.

A Celebration of Latina Individuality

By bringing together voices from beauty, wellness, and fashion, Neutrogena used Hispanic Heritage Month as an opportunity to look toward the future while celebrating the diversity of Latina experiences today.

The conversation recognized that there is no single way to be Latina, no universal beauty standard to follow, and no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness or personal style. Instead, the focus was on making informed choices, embracing individuality, and finding confidence in what feels authentic.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, the event leaves behind an inspiring message for 2027: the future is not about fitting into one definition of beauty or success. It is about having the freedom to define those things for yourself.
