Taangerine Tiger made its New York Fashion Week debut with Art Hearts Fashion this month, presenting its very first Fall/Winter collection, Mystic Garden. The showcase marked a shift from the brand’s signature resort aesthetic into a richer Fall/Winter wardrobe. From polished fall tweeds to intricate beading, the collection transitions from summer into the new season while maintaining the bold, playful energy Taangerine Tiger is known for.
“Mystic Garden felt like an opportunity to explore a different side of Taangerine Tiger,” said Aarti Mahtani, founder of Taangerine Tiger. “Boldness, intricate detailing and nature have always been at the heart of the brand, and with our first winter collection I wanted to express those ideas in a richer, more layered way. The garden became a way to explore contrast – softness and darkness, delicacy and texture, romance and mystery.”
The Bello team attended the show, where the collection came to life through seven distinct sub-collections. Six were featured on the runway, including Lueur in shimmering tweed, Evening Embers and Figure with hand-embroidered blooms, Jardin Joyau with feathered accents, and Garden Dusk in rhinestone-studded suede.

Alongside the Tiger, North African bag brand Qoffah complemented Mahtani’s collection, pairing effortlessly with the looks throughout the show.
Floral Eclipse in cotton-linen and Moonlit Meadows in crepe rounded out the collection. Together, the pieces showcased the precision and craftsmanship Mahtani brings to her designs, influenced by her Nigerian and Indian heritage.
With Mystic Garden, Taangerine Tiger brings its signature playful spirit into a new season, offering a collection that feels distinctly its own while marking a new chapter for the brand. Mystic Garden will be available this October.
