Charaf Tajer’s fashion label, Casablanca Paris, is set to debut its very first boutique on the prestigious Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. Known for its luxurious shopping scene, this iconic street in the 8th arrondissement is home to many renowned fashion houses. The new retail space, spanning 4843 square feet (450 square meters), marks a significant milestone for the 6-year-old brand.
“We wanted to be in the heart of luxury in Paris, and this location represents just that,” said Tajer, as reported by Business of Fashion (BoF).
For Tajer, opening a brick-and-mortar store was a natural evolution for Casablanca, a label deeply rooted in both his Moroccan heritage and Parisian upbringing. Launched in 2018, Casablanca has grown in influence, recently relocating its headquarters to London.
Last year, Frederick Lukoff, former Stella McCartney executive, took on the role of CEO. The brand is now on track to achieve record sales of $50 million USD this year, according to reports.
