As one of the best food cities in America, it can be overwhelming and even more expensive to try all the amazing food Los Angeles has to offer. Luckily for foodies like you and I, Dine LA exists. Dine LA is a bi-annual two week period where hundreds of restaurants are able to showcase the diverse food options LA has through specific menu options and it started on October 6th and runs until the 20th. It serves as a great way to try different restaurants who have cheaper offerings compared to their regular menu. However, hundreds of restaurants participate in Dine LA and it can be overwhelming to pick from the list. Lucky for you, I’ve done my research and have outlined 5 of my favorite restaurants that have the best deals.

LA is home to dozens of amazing Italian restaurants and Ospi is one of my favorites. For Dine LA they are offering a $25 lunch featuring an appetizer and an entree (I always get the crispy provolone and the spicy rigatoni alla vodka). Ospi’s pastas are usually at least $20 so this is a pretty good deal if you want to try some of LA’s best Italian food. If pasta isn’t your thing, they also offer sandwiches and pizzas, which are very good either way. There’s also one $10 alcoholic beverage per person with this deal if you want to make it an extra fun weekday lunch. Whichever way you decide to go about it, Ospi is a great option to try great Italian food without breaking the bank.

Kazunori continues to be my go-to handroll spot to get my sushi fix without spending over $30. It’s already a pretty good deal normally, but for Dine LA, they’re offering 5 handrolls and salmon sashimi for $25. Considering the 5 handroll set is usually $24, you’re basically getting salmon sashimi for $1, which is a great deal. It’s a perfect option for a date night for just over $50 with tax, but be prepared to potentially wait in line for their intimate bar-only seating. However, unlike previous years who offered Dine LA at all locations, it is only available at their Koreatown location this Fall.

All Day Baby is by no means a cheap deal at $55 per person, but to get 4 courses from a Michelin Bib Gormand restaurant is one of the better deals Dine LA has to offer. This gem in Silverlake consistently serves up really good upscale American food and through Dine LA, you have the option to try some items not on the original menu, including the steak tartare au poivre, hushpuppies, and a country fried steak.

Sichuan Impression in Alhambra has some of my favorite Sichuan food in LA and for Dine LA, they are offering 4 courses for $69. Not $69 per person, but $69 total. These 4 courses also feed 3-4 people and it comes with your choice of a beer or dessert. I’ve eaten at family style Chinese restaurants my whole life and the bill can easily rack up quickly. For $69, four huge dishes is a great deal, so grab a couple of friends, make the trip to Alhambra, and enjoy some delicious Sichuan food.

Mayura rounds out our top 5 with a $75 6-course meal that feeds 2 easily. You get an appetizer, 4 main dishes, garlic naan, dessert, and a drink (mango lassi is mandatory). This deal itself is very good, but the fact that Mayura is one of the best Indian restaurants in LA makes this Dine LA offering one of the best ones on the list.
